Freelander II Service Reset - manual procedure

- Insert Remote Control into the Ignition slot

- Do not touch the brake or clutch pedals

- Press and hold Button "A" on the dash (Under the mileage display)

- Press and hold the Start/Stop button within 10 seconds , this will switch the ignition on

- Release the "A" button

- The message "Distance" or "Date" will be displayed to indicate reset mode in the dash display

- Press and Hold the "A" button for 5 seconds

- The Reset message will be displayed for 5 seconds

- The message "Date" or "End" will be displayed.

If the "Date" message is displayed press and hold button "A" for 5 seconds again then the "Reset" message will display for 5 seconds.

The message "End" indicates that the procedures complete.

Press and hold the Start/Stop button.

NB: If the vehicle has gone over it's service interval by more than 20% of it's distance, then the manual procedure may not work.
