Autodetection
has also been improved, not only by all the reports that you keep
sending in, but also by the addition of the new "Model"
selection screen available on Renault, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Rover and Land
Rover. This lowers the ECU count by model and thus significantly
improves detection times.

The
PDF info system that is part of the SSII software has been improved
further by embedding the text into the actual programming procedure
itself. So, if there is no PDF available on a particular ECU, don't worry, as
the software will actually tell you what to do as you progress through
more complicated tasks!
The
Superscan II also has its own built in INFORMATION SYSTEMS that gives you the exact
procedure for each programming functionality before you start. Just select
the system you wish to program from the sub menu, press the Information button, and up comes the procedure on your screen. It's that simple!

DATA
Complete
Live Data streams in large clear displays. Each Live Data block can be GRAPHED,
has the ability to display MINIMUM and MAXIMUM values reached over long time
periods, and can also give you reference to the generic value that it should be.
In addition the Superscan II can take up to three different Live Data SNAPSHOTS
of all the data that an ECU is receiving, at three different engine speeds.
These three lists of data can then be compared, printed or even saved as
a FLIGHT RECORDER file.
DTC
- ERROR CODE READING & ERASING
The Superscan has all the functionality that you would expect to find in a high
end scanner.
This includes DTC (error code) reading and erasing, with error code text that
has been checked by a UK independent diagnostic specialist.
ACTIVATION
The
Superscan II, where the ECU allows it, will perform test activations of
components. On an engine for example, the
list of COMPONENTS that can be activated, could include:

made through Serial (RS232), USB ports or Bluetooth capabilities .
