Why should I buy the Superscan 3?
The Superscan is regarded as one of the most advanced programming Scantools available. It does more coding and programming “pound for pound” than any other scanner we know or sell.
The SS3 will compliment a more generic scanner, as it will allow you to program and code ECUs and components, such as keys, body computers, and airbags for example. Or simply because you are fed up having to take cars to the dealers for them to finish the job for you.

How do I find out what it will do, will it code ECUS and keys for example?
Yes SS3 will code keys and do ECU replacements for numerous vehicles, as well as many other Special Functions. These high end programming functions are what sets the SS3 apart from other scantools. All this information is available from the SS3 applications list HERE /p>
What comes in the kit?
The full kit comes with, Superscan interface, OBD cable, CD software disc, USB cable, Bluetooth USB dongle, nbsp;2 pin female connector. Universal power adaptor and connector cable, cigarette lighter adaptor.
What about updates?
You get a 12 months free updates when you purchase the tool.
Beyond that the cost is £460.00 + VAT if you have all the vehicle modules. This is all done on line and is very simple to do.
What if I don’t want to pay for future updates?
The tool will not lock up or time out and you will stay on the latest version you last downloaded.
How many updates are there a year?
There can be as many as 10 but usually about 6 per annum
Will I be charged for missed updates should I decide to update it 2 years later?
No there is no charge for missed updates what so ever

What Computer platform is required?
Any PC or Laptop running Windows XP SP3 – Vista – Windows 7
SS3 does does not come with a Laptop. We can provide these separately to customer requirements.

What if it goes wrong?
In the rare event of the hardware failing you have a 24 month warranty. If it is beyond this we are able to test / check and repair a Superscan here at Maverick Technology
What if there is a software fault?
If we or you suspect a software issue then a file can be created from the vehicle and sent to DEC Automotive for them to assess and see if a software update or patch is required.
What about technical support?
We offer a brilliant technical service for the SS3 for problems such as Bluetooth, updating, installing, downloading of software, and connection and software issues with vehicles.
What about vehicle technical support?
We offer assistance with any Programming or Special Functions issues and even give Remote Assistance but some clients like our MTS service.
Whats MTS then?
MTS - Maverick Technical Support - this is offered by a company outside of Maverick Technology and you subscribe to their services, at a cost of £175 / year and 10p / min for the phone call.

Well there are the You Tube clips available on our website which will give you an insight into the tool but if you are seriously looking to purchase the tool a free demo can be arranged at your premises – demos only available in the U.K.
