Bavarian Technic BMW Enthusiast I has all the same functionality as the Pro version but can only be used on the first 3 vehicles it is connected to (ie locks in the chassis number of the first 3 vehicles tested).  The kit is supplied with a 16 pin OBDII cable that connects to your laptop via USB. 

This is a superb new Windows based diagnostic tool that delivers the most cost effective and advanced BMW/Mini coverage available today. Connection is via USB then directly into the vehicles diagnostic socket. You can quickly gain in-depth diagnostic information including DTC read/erase, Live Data, Actuation test and Programming on a wide range of models and ecus.
