The Superscan II from DEC Automotive is “the” must have diagnostic tool for those looking to increase their programming capabilities on the majority of European vehicles.

Maverick Technology  have recently became the Worldwide distributors for Superscan II and now also make this fantastic tool in the UK. We work very closely with the developers and all our client feedback goes into the new developments of the software.

This is one of the most unique features of the SSII – each owner can help to advance the software with internal reporting of issues or more advanced functionality requirements. Why buy the Superscan II ?

The Superscan II is without question the best aftermarket tool available in the world for PSA (Peugeot and Citroen) and Renault with near OE levels of functionality including key programming, BSI programming, ECU configuration etc.   The SSII also offers incredibly strong coverage on Ford,  Land Rover, Fiat, Alfa, Lancia with excellent coverage of BMW,  VAG (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT), Vauxhall/Opel  plus  Rover/MG Rover and EOBD. SSII is not designed for the Asian car market (although does have some minor Toyota and Kia coverage) but  there is little requirement for coding on Asian cars .  If you require the best  Asian car coverage, then  we also sell the Carman Scan Lite, Wi and  VG+  from Nextech, which are regarded as the best Asian car Scantools in the market. When you combine the SSII with a Carman Scan as  a package, you get  two of the best tools on the market in their fields and thus get an excellent depth and width of coverage across both Euro / Asian car markets.  In our opinion this combination of tools is one of the best available in the Aftermarket in terms of price and functionality.

The SSII is currently available in many other languages part from English and these include Spanish, Italian, Turkish, German, Polish, Hebrew, Czech, Danish, Romanian, Portuguese, French, Dutch and Farsi to name but a few. 

We’ve sold the Superscan II all over the world and it’s worth noting that the software can be purchased on a per module basis (eg: only PSA etc) or as a complete kit with all the software modules.

The SSII uses a Windows based software system that is simple to use and which utilises a large, clear display that makes in-depth vehicle diagnosis a breeze. DTC Read/Erase

The Superscan has all the functionality that you would expect to find in a high end scanner. This includes DTC (error code) reading and erasing, with error code text that has been checked by a UK independent diagnostic specialist.

Live Data

- Complete Live Data streams in large clear displays
- Each Live Data block can be GRAPHED
- Ability to display MINIMUM and MAXIMUM values reached over long time periods (ideal way to give you reference to the generic value that it should be)
- Up to 3 different Live Data SNAPSHOTS of all the data that an ECU is receiving at 3 different engine speeds
- Up to 3 data lists can be compared, printed or even saved as a FLIGHT RECORDER file.

Actuation Tests

Where the ECU allows it the Superscan II will perform test activations of components. On an engine for example, the list of COMPONENTS that can be activated, could include: - Injectors - EGR valves - Stepper motors - Fuel pump relays - Air-conditioning relays and more...
