I Have 10 various scan tools including Snapon verus AutoDiagnos and more, but the Dec impresses me everyday. And the guys at Maverick are by far the most professional and helpful team I have met. They always give you the help you need. This is the tool I reach for first every time.

I trawled a large number of systems prior to purchase and the DEC won hands down. I have LAUNCH and ROVACOM (I do an awful lot of Landrovers)The depth of coverage means that I am often asked (by owners of some of the other equipment!) to do jobs that they can'tThe post sale support is excellent - where else can you send a dump file to the owner of the company and get a result?Maverick are also one of the best to deal with as wellNo aftermarket tool is perfect, but the DEC gets better and better - any 'transit' issues are just that -transit issues! I have just been testing the Dec Superscan on windows 7, 64 bit for the last week.  This newer running system is quick!! and i was very surprised at the speed of opperation and the ability of the Dec to cope with this system where most of my other diagnostic tools would not even load. 
 
If you want the Turbo charged system for opperating the Dec Superscan II then Windows 7, 64bit is the way forward.

I have 14 scan tools including Renault Clip and Lexia and Ids and I pick DEC up first because coding with the DEC is easier thatn with the dealer tools in many cases. I have never had any trouble connecting to vehicles with Superscan II and think it is bloody marvellousMichael McDowell - Pressure High Ltd

 
I would like to say that the dec superscan is one of the top diagnostic tools I have ever owned, I recently had to put their help team to the test when I was unable to code in a Peugeot 407 tyre monitoring system, the guys at Maverick could not do more to help and I was guided through a dump file, this was at three in the afternoon, and by ten the following morning the download was ready and the job completed. In this day and age that is sterling service and dedication to their customers that is lacking in the aftermarket scantool suppliers.I run one of the larger independent workshops in my area and back up is everything, the team at Maverick deliver just that.

I started from scratch 7 years ago. I did my research and found Maverick and the Superscan. To be honest I’ve never looked back and built a very successful independent garage with a reputation that sees even dealers approach me to solve things they can’t! The 3 things I love about the Superscan II is that it’s so easy to use, DEC, Maverick and their extended customer network are a fantastic resource and obviously I love the ability to program keys, injectors and BSIs etc. Anyone serious about diagnostics should have one.
