Hi, I have TurboGauge3 and I am wondering what the USB port on the side is for. Can I download the CBB data into PC? I connected it, the PC has found it, but nothing esle I can do. Is there any software to connect to TG3?

The USB port on the side if for future updates. Eventually you will be able to download updates to the tool and be able to download info from the TG3 to your pc/laptop.

Vecta CDTi 150ps late 2006 model
Hi just checking the unit will connect and show data on my Vectra Desiel, I'm mainly after MPG data average and instant etc I think it will.
Also can the unit be left connected and it will turn its self on and off with the ignition key.

Hi - Yes, a 2006 Vectra Diesel should be no problem - the unit is design to be used while the vehicle is on ie ignition on. So yes, it will turn itself off once the ignition is turned off.

Hi i recently bought a scanguage and the darn thing would not connect to my MITSIBISHI SHOGUN SPORT, TRIED IT ON MY SON'S CAR A NISSON 4X4 STILL NO JOY but then tried it on a ford ka, worked first time , done the job,
no i really don't want to change my car (shogun 4x4) for a ford ka, is there any code or some thing to help make the unit work on my veihicle,, it is a 2003 model t.d.
is the turboguage the same tech as the scanguage.. and would i have the SAME PROBLEM??

The Scanguage is similar to Turbogauge but not identical. Can you provide more information on the year of the cars that you can't connect to with the Scangauge and I'll be able to advise if you'll be able to connect with the Turbogauge.

Is it for use on a BMW318ti 1997, how does it connect to the instrumentation connector under the bonnet, does you provide a fault code converter, where can I see on in use??? It is not obvious on how I can send these comments!!!!!
If the diagnostic connector
If the diagnostic connector is under the bonnet it means your car is not OBDII compliant therefore you can not use the TurboGauge.
NB: We will soon be producing some short movies of the TurboGauge in use.

Engine Management Light
I have had intermittent shut-down on a 2004 Kia Sorento Diesel, this results in a condition similar to ignition switch-off and vehicle can be restarted after a minute, but with the engine management light on;this can happen at any time from once a week to once every 3 months; would the TURBO GAUGE show up this problem as main dealers just want to change everything!

my smart car does this. My scangauge did NOT report any error codes. Nor did the dealer's equipment, not the scanner used by the RAC.
Maybe the KA is different, but I would be surprised if any codes are recorded.

We can't be certain -
We can't be certain - according to wikipedia this vehicle was made between 98 - 01 - if it is OBD compliant the Turbogauge should work.

The Series 1 3200GT is not EOBD compliant and this won't work. The Series 2 cars are EOBD compliant and I expect it will. You can tell the difference between S2 and S1 as the S2 cars have the stainless steel (shiny silver in a sea of black) pop-off valves by the inlet manifolding.

Your product is called "turbogauge" but there is no mention in the description of it's use as a turbo boost gauge . I have a 1999Audi S4 & my I would buy one straight away if it could measure turbo boost pressure as well as the other advertised properties. If you can please advise. With thanks john
"Turbogauge" is the product
"Turbogauge" is the product name only. It is not a turbo boost gauge. Turbogauge works with the OBD protocol and 16 pin diagnostic plug. These may be fitted to your 1999 Audi but it was not a legal requirement until year 2001 for petrol cars so it is impossible for us to say whether your car have them or not.

Hi
I have been using a scan tool, however, it does not work on a 2003 Peugeot 206 petrol. It seems that Peugeot have not programmed the vehicle to release the data on aftermarket OBD2 scan tools. Can you advise if the turbo gauge can actually read the data on this and other models?
